AN/PRC-77 | Reciever Transmitter - Man-pack portable FM radio set designed to provide short-range, single-channel, radio voice communication. An improvment over the older AN/PRC-25, it incorperates the wide band (x-mode) cipher tone squelch capability, Making it fully compatable with the AN/VRC-12 series radio sets. The set includes the RT-841/PRC-77 (pictured) and minor components. |

Accessory Equipment

OA-36 33A/GRC
Amplifier-Power Supply - Used to mount the RT-841/PRC-77 in a vehicle radio system to make the AN/VRC-64 or AN/GRC-160.
Included are:
*Amplifier/Power Supply - AM-2060( )/GRC
*Cable - CX-4655/GRC

BA-4386/U
Battery and Charger - Dry Magnesium battery that has long life. The battery is provided with a female connector to mate with the battery connector on the RT-841/PRC-77. The battery supplies 3 and 15 volts; the 3-volt output is not used by the RT-841/PRC-77.

BA-5598/U
Battery and Charger - Lithium battery that has longer life than the BA-4386/U and is half the size. It is normal procedure to install two lithium batteries in Battery Box CY-2562/PRC-25. One battery is put in the battery box to take up the remaining room and to secure the other battery.

CY-2562/PRC-25
Battery Box - Light-weight metal case that protects and houses the battery. The battery sits on foam pads that are attached the the bottom of the box.

LC-2

ST-138/PRC-25
Pack Frame - Constructed of webbed cotton material, the ST-138 is used to carry a receiver-transmitter on the user's back. Loops on one side of the harness provide for the attachment of the equipment bag CW-503/PRC-25.

CW-503/PRC-25
Bag - Sectionalized into several pockets, this bag is used to store the two antennas, the antenna support, and handset. As well as spare batteries.

MK-456/GRC
Radio Retransmission Cable Kit - With Cable Assembly, Special Purpose, CX-4656/GRC, two compatible FM radios may be used as a radio relay for other radio sets that are too far distant to communicate directly with each other. The MK-456/GRC consists of Bag, Cotton Duck CX-502/GRC and 50-foot cable assembly CX-4656/GRC. The network box has an audio connector to which a handset or audio accessory is attached to monitor the signals being transmitted in both directions.
